About TCG

We are an award-winning, Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level 2 assessed small business that specializes in providing tailored information technology services and solutions.

Why TCG?

We have a wealth of experience assisting Federal agencies in migrating their existing fragmented information technology infrastructures and inconsistent processes to integrated environments built on reusable functionality, consistent business processes, and interoperable infrastructures. For each of our customers, we tailor custom-built solutions that best meet our clients’ needs. The awards we have received demonstrate the success of this approach.

Our History

TCG began as a web applications development consultancy in 1994. Initially working for the National Institutes of Health, with whom TCG still does business, the company has grown from one employee helping NIH solve legislative requirements through the application of new technology with our Hammer Award-winning iEdison project to a company that now offers a complete range of IT and management consulting services that have achieved recognition on the Inc. 5000 and, most recently, the “best overall” 2009 Excellence.Gov Award.

Our Management Team

With over 120 years of combined technical and management experience, TCG’s senior management team is dedicated to excellence and provides successful guidance for all of our Federal government IT projects.

Daniel A. Turner

Daniel A. Turner, President of TCG, started the company in 1994. He brought his background in government computing services and state networking agencies to the creation of TCG, a new kind of organization based on distributed applications development using object oriented design, and methodology-driven processes.

Dr. Robert Buccigrossi

Dr. Robert Buccigrossi has worked with TCG since its inception in 1994. As Chief Architect, his goals are to promote consistent architecture standards and share lessons learned between development projects. He has also worked as Technical Lead, providing technical management and system-level orchestration of projects utilizing n-tier architectures.

David G. Cassidy

David Cassidy joined TCG in February 2000 as a Project Manager. In his current role as Vice President, he is responsible for client satisfaction and program excellence and manages TCG’s business development and marketing activities. He has extensive experience in this capacity and currently manages a portfolio of $18 million of projects for TCG, including 13 subcontractors.

Maureen Sullivan

Since joining TCG in 1995, Maureen has been involved in the design or development of a wide range of projects, including iEdison, the eRA Commons, the Federal Commons, the NCI Calendar, Goldwell USA, and the Journal of Electronic Publishing. Maureen's primary responsibilities include internal software quality assurance (SQA) testing, capability maturity model process definition, and interface design best practices. Maureen is member of the Software Division of the American Society for Quality (ASQ).

Judith Axler Turner

Judith Axler Turner represents TCG to clients and clients to TCG. Her focus is on managing programs and projects to ensure that TCG builds systems that have the exact richness and depth that will advance a client's enterprise. She has managed some of TCG's biggest projects, and some of its smallest, ranging from the iEdison rewrite for the National Institutes of Health to helping the National Agricultural Library establish a new long-range plan for its information services.
